I’m not sure if you caught my early access post I did last week featuring my favorites from the Nordstrom sale or if you were perhaps wrapped up in the hundreds of thousands of other bloggers who have, and are currently, posting about the biggest sale of the year right now. Why is it that all bloggers seem to be posting about this sale? Well, simply put: It makes us money!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the multi-brand retailers largest and most popularly received annual sale period. With tens of thousands of readers scraping the internet for the best of highest grossing months of the year, this sale serves as the top earning sale for influencers. Bloggers use affiliate (coded) links on their websites and when people shop the sale through their blog, we make a commission. It’s the quickest, easiest way to make a living through your blog and, to be honest, it was the first paycheck I ever received for Damsel in Dior.

I love posting about the Nordstorm Sale because it gives me the opportunity to make suggestions on what I think you should purchase. It’s kind of like having my best friend calling me and asking “What do I need in my closet this season?” and I get to make a list of suggestions. I hope you enjoy it!

P.S. I know that my Nike Cortez sneakers aren’t on sale but they are under $100 and I strongly recommend you get them now! If navy is sold out, my second favorite is this adorable white pair!
