I feel like it’s been a minute since I have done a shopping post round-up.
When I started my blog, a lot of you say you really enjoyed seeing not only what I am purchasing, but why I love it so much. With Memorial Day weekend at our heels, summer is literally at our doorstep! With the new season arriving, I’m giving my wardrobe a little make-over to step foot into summer in style.
Here are few things I’m ordering, or have already ordered, and why.
The lovely folks over at Jenni Kayne gifted me with these adorable slippers for Mother’s Day and I am obsessed. Are they a bit on the pricey side for house slippers? Sure. But I have literally worn them every single day since I got them. They truly feel extra special if you are in the market for some luxe slippers!
You all are constantly asking me about what my favorite t-shirts are and right now I am crushing hard on Cotton Citizen. In the below photo I’m wearing the Sydney T-Shirt which retails for $90. It’s a little on the longer side but I love tying it in a little knot just above the waist which feels more flattering.
I have also been wearing a ton of Richer – Poorer t-shirts. They are a bit thicker to the touch and I really love their muscle crop tank. I have it in three colors and it goes great with high waisted denim shorts.
I was looking for a solid trench coat for rainy spring days and this one is hands down my favorite. I LOVE the buttons on the side and any time the weather looks gloomy, I reach for this trusty trench.
Shop NowA few summers back I had the perfect white blazer by Helmut Lang. I have completely worn it into the ground so I’m on the hunt to find a cream colored summer blazer that falls just right. It’s been hard to find one online because it’s something that I have to go off of feel to purchase.
I’ve been eyeing this one by Club Monaco and might pull the trigger. The problem is that linen rarely falls the way that I want it to. I also recently ordered this pricier version by Helmut Lang but it feels little crazy to be dropping so much money on a blazer that will probably get beaten up.
Something else I have ordered and loved but haven’t had the opportunity to post are these Alessandra Rich earrings. When I was in Cabo with the girls, Lina had them in silver and I decided to order this pair in gold. I am hooked and so in love but haven’t had an opportunity to play dress up with them yet.
A few weeks ago I posted wearing this sick striped top on my trip to Cabo and I loved it so much that when I came home I decided to order the pants too. The top is currently 30% off which is a total score! A few years ago I had a similar pair that I got a ton of wearing out of so I feel like it’s a worthy investment. I also feel like the heavy silk fabric feels worth the high dollar. If you still aren’t sold on it, here is a similar pair for half the price.
I don’t wear a ton of accessories and only have two headbands in my vanity. This black one by Jennifer Behr is hands down my favorite. It’s the perfect go-to to pop on your head if you’re having a bad hair day. I also feel like it instantly dresses up any outfit that feels kind of blah.
So there you have it! A few of my new favorites and things I’m cooking up for summer. What’s on your “to buy” list these days? Leave a comment below!
