It feels like all I ever hear about is people ranting and raving about French beauty products and how amazing they are.
Sadly, admittedly, I had never actually made my way into a French pharmacy to see what all of the fuss is about. I decided to wander into CityPharma in Paris last week to scoop up a few cult favorites of beauty experts across the globe.
Listen, while I am not a beauty expert, I did a quick scrape online and found a few fan favorites of items that can easily be found at French pharmacies {and apparently Amazon, ha!} and that’s what I went to grab.
I read online that this micellar water removes your makeup effortlessly without tearing off eyelashes or making your skin feel stripped.
Shop NowI read a lot about this brand being good for tinted mousse, however I was drawn to a tube of intense soothing case while shopping.
Shop NowI have been obsessing over oils so I was immediately drawn to the Nuxe all in one formula that is a popular choice in French pharmacies.
The time-filler by Filorga is described to be the miracle cream of France. It was the first thing I opened and I immediately fell in love with the smell and texture. I think it’s probably comparable to Pond’s in the U.S. but I don’t care – if it’s French I’m sold!
I cannot wait to start testing out all of these products on my skin. I don’t know if they will work better or worse than product that can easily be found in the states, but there’s something really sweet about the fact that I purchased them all in Paris.
If you ever find yourself in Paris, here are a few places to shop for French beauty products {think Walgreens}.
