Sound the trumpets, fire up the engine, and get those bottle of champagne poppin’ because Grant and I have officially planned our 10 year wedding anniversary trip.

When we married, 10 years ago in September, we vowed that for our 10 year we would go big. While we had originally dreamed up the idea of doing Bora Bora or Tokyo, given the current circumstances of the world (along with our mood), we finally selected a place that has us both feeling ultra excited.

In early September we’ll be making our way to the South of France (insert party emojis here). I could not be more excited. I’ve only spent a few short time in Nice many, many moons ago. Grant has been to Saint Tropez and has rave reviews.

We’ll be staying on a boat for the first half of the trip and then we’re checking in to the iconic Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc (as seen in the feature image by Slim Aarons). To say that I’m excited is an understatement. This will be our first time back to Europe since 2019 when we spent the summer in Italy. I’m really looking forward to some alone time with Grant, getting inspiration for our travel plans for summer 2022, and exploring a part of the world I’ve never been.

And did I mention the packing? I’m also looking forward to that.
