I didn’t get into anything too crazy over the weekend. Grant had a bunch of work and commitments with friends so I had a lot of solo time to fill with gardening, puzzles and playing with Polly.
I took some time to clean out my bathroom drawer and narrow down my products to only those that I truly use religiously.
With the changing of each season, I switch out my signature scents. I only have 6-7 fragrances in my collection. Chanel No. 5 has been a part of rotation for years. P.s. I could not, for the life of me, get this photo in focus. Oops.
On Saturday I dove into replenishing the garden which was no easy fete. My arms and legs are still sore. I planted tomatoes, flowers, jalepeno’s and lettuce.
After gardening it was time for my favorite weekend activity: A nice long bath.
I went to The Woods on Saturday night with Haleigh {my editorial assistant} and Justin & Josh. I forgot how much I love this little dive bar. The bathroom was super dark and I couldn’t help myself from taking a selfie. P.s. You should 100% get this Theory top I’m wearing here. I just got it and it’s all I’ve been wearing at night ever since. I really love the bell sleeves. Here’s a less expensive version (click here).
Sunday was a bit gloomy out, so I was finally able to bust out my favorite fall sweater.
I paid a visit to Barney’s where I scooped up some new reading glasses by Oliver People’s. I can’t wait to get these puppies filled with my Rx so I can bust them out.
I got back to the house and as I walked by my bar cart I knew it was time for a change. The darn thing rattles with bottles every time I walk by and it has hit my last nerve. I edited down the selection by putting our liquor in a cabinet and removed all of the clutter.
