When it comes to Instagram hot spots, there are a few places in Los Angeles that I tend to frequent. I know everyone has their own favorites, from the infamous pink wall to Gracias Madre, but here are a few places that I visit on rotation that I thought I would share.
I’ve been obsessed with the Avalon Hotel since I moved to Los Angeles. Kelly Wearstler recently redid the interior and it is drool worthy. There are wonderful cabanas by the pool that you can cozy up in and the bar scene is marbled and beautiful.
This is the perfect palm tree lined street that everyone searches for when they come to Los Angeles.
I love taking my polaroid camera out on shoots, they are great at capturing BTS shots and always make for fun memories.
Shop NowThis downtown gem is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. Be sure to hit up the Last Bookstore afterwards for enough photos to keep your feed busy for a week.
It is quite the hike but well worth it for the view. Be sure to take the Hollyridge trail which leads you straight to the back end of the Hollywood sign. Also, pack water and some trail mix so you don’t drain out.
Yes it’s a bit cliche but it’s super easy to make a pit stop at the Made in LA sign. It’s easily located on the side of Cisco Home store {8025 Melrose Ave.}. You can also venture down to Melrose Place where you can visit The Line Los Angeles which is a blogger Instagram hot spot.
This is one of my favorite places to visit in LA. You have to secure tickets in advance but I promise the experience is worth the extra effort.
I recently bought this new Canon G7 and have been taking it everywhere with me! It's fun to try out something new especially when it's a new toy for work.
Shop NowWant picture perfect views of the sunset over the Santa Monica pier? Pull up a seat on the Shutters balcony at sunset for the best seat along the boardwalk. Be sure to give yourself some time while the sun is still out to venture around the hotel and snap a few Instagrams. This was taken in the walkway next to the pool {on the 3rd floor}.
There’s a reason why every blogger under the sun likes to visit the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and it isn’t just for the avocado toast. After your photogenic brunch, be sure to head up to the rooftop deck for stunning views of downtown.
Rent a bike and cruise along the boardwalk for that quintessential LA experience.

Shop NowIf you have some time to cruise up the coast, one of my favorite fish shacks, the Reel Inn Restaurant, has a really cool vintage sign you can pose in front of. Continue to head up north to Paradise Cove where you will find an absolutely beautiful setting for photos to be taken.
