The first touch, the first “I love you” and the first tears that I ever shed were met with her comfort, her warmth and her love. The relationship between a Mother and Daughter is, in my opinion, one of the most rewarding and challenging relationships you can have. If you have a Mom that is as amazing as mine is, then you have someone who is always in your corner, pushing you to be your best. She inspires you to explore ideas and parts of yourself that  you didn’t know existed until she led you to them, guiding you through life’s challenges and hardships. My Mom is the #1 person in my life who I want to impress and whose approval I work hardest to receive. Yet, at the end of the day, come success or failure I know that she will be there with open arms, love and support that I make her proud no matter what. So many people I come across ask me a simple question, “What drives you?” and the answer is simple. It is not money, fame or success that is measured by others. It is the quiet force behind me that makes me, me. It is my Mom.
