Happy Thanksgiving! I don’t know if it’s just me, but the past few months has felt quite like a whirlwind. Between letting go of summer, William, the election and so many other personal things… it’s been a lot to handle. This Thanksgiving, I took a minute to write down a list of a few things that I am truly thankful for this year. It left me feeling exceptionally grateful and I encourage you to follow suit.
I am thankful for . . .
My good health and the strong health of my family & friends ++ A warm home that is filled with love ++ The man singing by the fountain in Central Park when we took these photos ++ My parents for flying in to LA for Thanksgiving ++ My sweet husband for always bringing me coffee in the morning ++ Polly Pringle for her endless snuggles ++ My soft bed ++ The “ding” sound of the seatbelt sign on an airplane ++ The feeling of sand beneath my feet ++ When my favorite song comes on the radio ++ Snapchat (because it’s fun) ++ My garden ++ Every single person who visits this website ++ The wonderful people behind Damsel in Dior who help me make it a beautiful place for people to visit ++ The fireplace in my living room ++ A hot bath after a long, productive day ++ People who fight for our country ++ Random strangers who smile when I walk past them ++ Rain ++ Waking up in my own bed on Thanksgiving Day ++ Cotton ++ That really hard laugh you get in the pit of your stomach ++ Cheese
