It’s funny how the moment you start to get used to something, it’s time to make a change. Just as I feel my summer wardrobe rounding itself out, here we are in August & it’s suddenly time to start thinking about autumn. The problem with change is that I am often very resistant to it. I say this, being the girl who used to move apartments an average of 2.5 times a year since I was 18 years old and being the blogger who is constantly fighting to urge to hop around the world and can’t seem to sit still. But, when it comes to larger changes, I have a hard time letting go of routine. It’s an ironic shame because some of the most beautiful things in life happen thanks to change.
“Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” John F. Kennedy
