Champagne Thursday 13 years ago Pop Out A Picnik
The temps should be heating up so hopefully this Champagne Thursday finds you itching to get outdoors. If not, you can always opt for an indoor soirée. Here are three quick & easy tips for throwing a stylish outdoor movie night:
1. Pick a Comfy Spot: Whether it be in your backyard, on your rooftop deck or perhaps right in your living room. Pick a location that’s comfortable and has good lighting (and sound). Be sure to stock up on floor pillows & blankets so everyone can get snuggly.
2. Equip Yourself: Grab a sheet and tack it up against a tree or wall for the screen. DVD Projectors aren’t all that $$. I found one on Amazon for as little as $80. And it doesn’t take a genius to hook them up (I promise). I also love the tray on this tray table because it’s removable. So, you can use it while sitting on the ground or as an outdoor table for future parties.
3. Outdoors = Debug: No one wants flies in their champagne. Be sure to get some spray or (even better) insect repellant candles to guard against bugs.
