My weekend in Los Angeles felt exceptionally relaxing. I phoned up my friends at the Montage Beverly Hills and begged to be able to use their pool on Saturday since temps passed 90 degrees fahrenheit. Thankfully they treated us well with some of the best fish taco’s I’ve ever had, and a nice day to work on my tan prior to my trip to Maui. That’s right! I’m off to Maui this Wednesday with the Veuve Clicquot team and I can.not.wait. And speaking of the Montage, that’s where I’ll be staying in Maui. I’m really excited to check out this new property.

On Friday night I took things pretty easy and stepped out for some sushi. After that we came home and watched 'Moonrise Kingdom.' It was hands down my favorite Wes Anderson film. So good!
After soaking in the sun all day Saturday I referenced my Pinterest board for a new recipe. I found this delicious Almond Crusted Chicken Picatta recipe from A Cozy Kitchen. She saw me post it to my Instagram feed and we made a coffee date for when I’m back from Maui. Gotta love making new friends via social media!
Even though we just hung out in Palm Springs, I was bummed to not be able to hang with my Dad on Sunday – Happy Father’s Day, Dad!
Last but definitely not least, I kept hearing how great the new Reformation store was on Melrose but it really is one of those “you have to see it to believe it.” First of all, the dressing rooms are so cool. The girls in the store sneak your clothes into the room in a secret door at the back of the closet. There’s an iPad in the dressing room. So, if you need another size you can just fill it out on the iPad. You can also notify the girls who work at the store that you are ready to check out and as soon as you open the door, they are there with an iPad to check you out. On top of this, there’s cell phone hook up in each room so you can charge and listen to music…. and did I mention that the dressing rooms have 3 different light settings? This is the future people – and the future is NOW! You should definitely go check it out.
How was your weekend? Did you do anything special?
