I’ve been through it all trying to achieve and maintain the perfect blonde.
Believe me, my hair is not always how I want it to be. I’ve been struggling lately to not only grow my hair, but to bring the life back to my blonde. While most of these products I have been using for years, Justin Anderson turned me on to his amazing dpHUE products after my recent visit.
As you know, I am a minimalist when it comes to beauty. I don’t like having too many things to choose from, I just like using what really works and keeps my life simplified.

Strengthen
I have been using this product on my hair for as long as I can remember. Unlike other leave-in masks that make your hair silky, Olaplex works differently. It strengthens the hair to prevent breakage, leaving your hair stronger versus softer. That’s why I highly recommend another leave-in product {more of a leave-in conditioner}, as I included below. The combination of the two will lead to the perfect balance of luscious and unbreakable locks.
Rinse
This is all new territory for me. I just began using these products a few weeks ago, and I can safely say I’ve noticed a difference.
At first, I worried that this vinegar rinse would not make my hair feel clean. I was accustomed to a more traditional daily shampoo with suds and all. This product really took me by surprise. My hair actually feels clean! And even better, I know I’m not washing out my blonde on the daily.
I use the second product, the shampoo, once per week and I have noticed my hair not fading as quickly. The purple color leaves your blonde color popping and fresh. I have tested this dynamic duo on your behalf, and the reviews are an A++.
Smoothe
Living Proof is a trusty brand {that also makes great dry shampoo} that I have used for years. I love their masks because they truly leave my hair so soft and manageable. They are excellent in tandem with Olaplex.
The Night Cap is great for those self care nights that roll on into the morning. Whenever I leave it in overnight, I am always amazed by the district difference in the AM.
The mask is great for when you’re in a rush and maybe don’t feel like sleeping in a shower cap all night. 5 minutes and you’re good to go – silkier from root to tip in no time.
Hydrate
Last but not least, hydration. Hydration is everything when you want the appearance of healthy hair. Especially for dyed blonde locks that often crave that extra nourishment, this step is a must. I love everything IGK, you really can’t go wrong with any of their products, but for added moisture, this reigns supreme.
