“Our soul mate is the one who makes life come to life.”
I’ve always believed that we can have many soul mates throughout the walk of life and if we are very lucky, we might get to meet one or two.
After a wonderfully filled Sunday of taking my cousin Kerry around the city {Catt joined us} we found ourselves sitting high above Columbus Circle taking in the sunset. We were all smiles as we chatted about the best grilled cheese we’d ever tasted, our incredible helicopter tour of NY and the picturesque walk in Central Walk. Catt brought up the conversation of soul mates and was surprised when I suggested that us girls might be each others. “I didn’t know you could have female soul mates!” she exclaimed. We giggled as we all agreed that when it comes to soul mates, there are no rules.
It was in that moment that I personally declared New York as my soul mate. I truly feel that with every leaf that falls each autumn, my deep affinity for this city continues to grow and grow.
{PS If you can consider clothes as a soul mate, then my new cape from Express is definitely mine! I am sickly obsessed with the ease and effortlessness of this amazing piece of outerwear! And… it’s on sale! Score}
