What a wild month it has been! Because there are so many social media platforms and other things to keep up with, I always like to do round up posts just in case you missed something {ICYMI = in case you missed it}. After all, I know my Meme {who reads my blog daily} doesn’t have Instagram, so she especially loves these little updates.
Here are a few things I’ve been up to this month that you might have missed.
Last weekend on my first day back from Dubai I woke up feeling really well rested at 6am. We caught an early brunch at one of my favorite spots, Connie & Ted's. The weather was super warm so I dressed down and kept cool in my favorite fabric, cotton.
You know the saying: If you want a clean house, throw a party? Grant and I have been trying to find new rugs for what feels like a decade. We finally came across a few we fell in love with at HD Buttercup, just in time for our fall feast dinner. I will be posting photos from the party later in the week.
Sometimes I get so wrapped up in buying trendier pieces and flashy dresses for the blog that I forget to invest in really great basics. For example, I've been wearing the same black sweater I've had since last fall. I finally pulled the trigger on this light-weight Vince sweater and I've been living in it since. I'm linking to all product at the bottom of this post!
Poor Polly has a pretty bad staph infection so we have been having to give her baths every 4 days. She wasn't feeling too hot in this photo but she is on the road to recovery.
I was only in Denver for 2 nights to see Shannon and Gia but we had such a blast. The street that Shannon lives on looked like it was from a movie. There were beautiful fall leaves, kids playing on the sidewalks and parents sitting on their front stoop.
This past Saturday, my friend Grasie Mercedes and I hosted a fun kickball game with Lou & Grey FORM. Playing kickball was so fun and it made me feel like a kid again!
