i did it.
i sold my wedding dress today.
it wasn’t an easy choice but the thought of my beautiful vera wang fawn sitting up in the attic for dozens of years to come made me sad. the thought of making another bride happy by giving her the dress of her dreams (for less) made me smile. so did the idea of having the cartier love bracelet around my wrist which is exactly what i will be using the money to purchase. so i sold my dress and i’m off to purchase the bracelet. hopefully if i have a daughter one day she will appreciate not only my veil (which i kept) but me giving her my love bracelet as a gift on her wedding day.
