I was as giddy as a girl in a candy store when the Thom Browne team offered to dress me for his show.
I’m a long time lover of the brand and while I understand how not everyone “gets” his couture craftsmanship, I certainly swoon over it! In effort to translate the Thom Browne brand to you guys, I attempted to select an outfit from the collection to wear that was easy to translate into something you could wear to work. I’ve also linked to a few similar pieces in this post!
The Thom Browne show is exceptionally inspiring, toying with the line of masculine versus feminine wardrobes {it’s all very gender-neutral} and offering a heavy dose of intricate beading and handwork. But my favorite thing about his show, season after season, is that is gives me the butterflies. It makes me feel like the 5 year old version of myself who used to run around barefoot playing dress up in my Mom’s closet. The music always touches my soul and the clothing is wild in the best of ways.
Special thank you to Ylenia for the beautiful photos.
