Outfits 10 years ago A First That Lasts
One of my very first jobs was working at the news assignment desk at WGN-TV, Chicago.
As a sophomore collection student who was eager to be taken as a serious working professional, I {naturally} immediately dashed out my door in search of grown up “work clothes.” I searched high & low for the perfect pant that said “I am competent and qualified” but also “I am stylishly and classically dressed.”
Insert: The Express Editor Pant. It was honestly my first pair of “work pants” so many years ago and it remains one of my favorites to this day. It always makes me so happy when I reach for something in my closet that has remained a true staple for so many years. It’s kind of like reaching for your favorite vintage quilt on a rainy day.
