night outfits 12 years ago A Damsel in Dior
{Yellow Dress by Bottega Veneta}
I’ll never forget my first visit to Decades. I was new to living in Los Angeles and as I opened the doors to this unique store on Melrose Ave., it felt as though I was opening the doors to my dream closet. The space is filled with vintage pieces from every decade {pun intended}, including incredibly beautiful tweed suits by Chanel, one-of-a-kind YSL jewelry, Hermés Birkins, Kelly’s & Clemence {oh my!} and true, true vintage pieces that belong in a museum. My favorite thing about Decades is that there is something for everyone. Whether your budget is $200 or $20,000 you will walk away with a piece of fashion history.
If you haven’t had the chance to visit the famous boutique don’t stress! Co-owners Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos are so great at what they do, they are now starring in their own show on Bravo called Dukes of Melrose {love that name!}.
Be sure to catch the show tomorrow night {3/13} at 10:30/9:30c on Bravo for an inside peak at what really goes down during Oscar season {it’s nut-so!}. You can also catch more updates on their facebook page here.
Taking a peak at a vintage YSL necklace – swoon!
Dying over the beading in this Givenchy top and the bottom has a fur lined waist… did I mention it’s backless!?
Speaking of beads, this vintage Dior dress is so intricately designed that I had to take a close up.
Another Dior dress that made my heart melt!
A Damsel in Chanel with vintage Dior in the background. What more could a girl ask for!?
This is my “I want to skip around in this dress” look. Tra-la-la-la-laaa.
oh.
Emm.

You didn’t actually think I’d walk out without putting on some Dior, did you?!
I shopped ’till I dropped.
