Outfits 11 years ago 7 Fun Fall To Do's
Every year fall rolls around on the calendar, it blows in a surge of inspiration to get out of the house and enjoy the few final days of nice weather before the first snowflake drops. One thing I have never done in New York city is go to Central Park. OK, OK, I have been to Central Park to walk and to run but never to sit and truly take in the beautiful surroundings. On my recent visit to the city, I grabbed a friend and a bottle wine and did exactly that. I also made a bucket list of seven things I would like to do this fall {find them at the bottom of this post!}.
#1. Enjoy Central Park with a bottle of wine on sheep’s meadow, particularly during during sunset. (Check!)
#2. Host an outdoor screening party. You can click here for a quick video on how to set up for one!
#3. Visit a pumpkin patch. As cheesy as that sounds, it will instantly get you into the autumn spirit.
#4. Light a fire! If you have a fireplace or have access to a fire pit, spark one up on the coolest night. Even if that means you have to open every window in your house.
#5. Toss on some socks. Anytime you’re curled up on the couch for a movie night with wine and popcorn, throwing out a pair of socks will bring out your cozy side.
#6. Purchase plaid. It is astonishing how the simple act of wearing fall colors can get you into the fall spirit.
#7. Host a dinner party. My favorite fall recipe is a family secret red beans and rice pot of stew that I stir up each autumn with my favorite bottle of red. I toss on some Cajun tunes and the minute I start cooking I know that fall has arrived!
