Paris fashion week is all about breaking out your fall style, preparing for a little chill in the air I packed up my greatest coats, hats and loafers for the trip. Similarly to when I was in New York, I’ve picked out six statement pieces that carried me through the week.
Which one’s your favorite?
01. Velvet Blazers & Bombers
As you know, I am in love with everything velvet. While in Paris I have been wearing Frame’s beautiful velvet blazers in both spruce green and black. Although these are both fall colors, I think a velvet jacket is great in any shade no matter the season.
02. Fall Hats
It wouldn’t be fall in Paris without a proper autumn hat. Finding the perfect hat can be hard, but once you find it I guarantee you’ll want to wear it with every single outfit.
03. Camel Coats
I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, camel coats are a must have for fall. Consider it an investment into a staple piece that you can pull out every year around this time, without having to worry that it will ever go out of style.
04. Slippers & Loafers
I’ve been wearing backless slippers and loafers all over Paris this week, they are the perfect fall shoe that give an effortless yet chic look to an outfit. Dress them down with a pair of baggy jeans or dress them up with a matching suit and be ready for any occasion.
05. Pajama Sets
It honestly took awhile for the pajama trend to grow on me. In New York there is a cute little shop in Soho called Sleepy Jones, I found the greatest pajama sets there and have been wearing them out ever since. Pair a silk pajama top with a pair of slouchy slacks or wear the whole set out with some loafers for a comfortable yet stylish look.
06. Bell Sleeved Tops
Nothing brings elegance and style to an outfit like a bell sleeved top so when in doubt, throw one on to add an extra detail to your look. Great for both evening wear or a casual outing, you can’t go wrong in a bell sleeved top.
