My friends basically laugh in my face at how long I’ve held on to these $20 shorts from Zara. When we were in Cabo a few months back, I pulled my trusty shorts out of my bag and the girls jaws dropped in shock that I still have them. We all had them, the only thing is I still have mine {and wear them often}. After nearly 3 years, 3 zipper repairs and thousands of wears later, this simple black pair of shorts I scored from Zara remain a favorite.
So what makes them so special? I honestly think it’s the simplicity of the way they fit. There is a side zipper, somewhat high waist fit and a perfect skirt-like flair that almost makes the shorts look like a skort. I hate to say that this particular pair is officially sold out {ha, they’re over 3 years old after all}, however I have linked to a few similar pairs under $30, that I think will hit a sweet spot in your closet. You can also style this style of shorts with over the knee boots for fall and a nice big chunky knit sweater.
Is there a piece in your closet that you can’t seem to let go of? Share in the comments below.
This is the most similar looking pair I was able to find and you will never believe they are on sale for under $10! Score!
Shop NowMissguided is always a go to spot for trendy but very affordable pieces. Also, they are always promoting some sort of discount on their site, right now its 50% off the entire store!
Shop NowThis pair from Nordstrom will definitely do the trick, it looks like these might be a little more well made then the H&M pair but either way they are both similar looking to the Zara pair I'm wearing
Shop NowAsos is a good one stop shop when you are looking to buy a few new pieces for your wardrobe. They literally have everything!
