Lately when it comes to making purchases, I’ve been focusing on key classics that will stand the test of time. There are a few of these staples I’ve invested in over the years that I reach for time and time again, like my Dior Bar blazer or Hunting Season bags.
I think the trick to knowing which pieces will end up classics is to think about the items you already have and love in your closet.
Below you’ll find a few things that I think would make amazing additions.
This dress is giving major Audrey Hepburn vibes.
I love the brand Metier and this color is spot on.
There’s a fun spring sale happening today and I wasn’t about to miss out on the fun.
The one and only Amazon has surprised us with a Big Spring Sale today and I have combed through the pages to find the latest and greatest from their fashion section. Spring is the perfect time to give your wardrobe a little refresh and the below styles are my top picks for what I think will make the biggest difference in your closet.

She's striped, she's ladylike and she's a solid piece that will elevate your wardrobe.
I love how classic this bag feels. It's a great addition for spring and summer.
When it comes to March, I start busting out my raffia pieces no matter what the weather is doing.
It’s the easiest way to add a bit of spring to your step and I’ve always loved the combination of a light spring sweater with jeans and a raffia tote. But raffia doesn’t have to stop with bags, below you will find a few key raffia pieces that I find to be worth pulling the trigger on.
This is the biggest bang for your buck off my list. It checks all the boxes and gets a gold star for style in my book.
If you're looking to invest in a bag that will carry you year to year, look no further.
This bag is very of the now. It can also be carried into the night which I love.
Celebrating Easter this year?
I’ve always loved Easter Sunday but sometimes it really sneaks up on me. This year I’m playing it super simple and easy so that there’s no stress on the planning. You won’t find a fully decked out home decor or perfectly coordinated outfits here this year! We’re traveling quite a bit over the next few weeks so I ordered a few things for the kids and I’m planning to cook a big brunch at my house with easy table decor.
Below are a few pieces that I ordered to spruce up spring. Tap here for more favorites and see the collage at the bottom of this post.
I’ve been itching for some new linens but didn’t want to break the bank. With two little ones at the table, spilling is a guarantee. So there’s no reason to drop an arm and a leg on expensive tablecloths and napkins.
I absolutely love this sage green tablecloth that I sourced for $70. I tend to gravitate toward green linens if I’m going with a color because it’s a great tone for spring or fall. The napkins were also found here but it looks like mine are sold out so here is a great comp. Jute placemats are here and my flatware and dinner plates are by Juliska.
I couldn’t be more excited to share that I am taking a big bucket list trip to Japan in April with my friends.
It’s something I’ve been dreaming of for years and because it’s a place I’ve never been to, I took a poll on social media asking for recommendations. I can’t thank you enough for the tremendous response. A lot of you asked to see the tips, so I decided to leave them here for you all to reference. Please note that I haven’t cross checked this list, so you may have to do some digging and research on your own. However, I figure it would serve as a great starting point for those of you planning a trip to Japan.
I also found this extremely helpful blog post on Bon Traveler which I’m linking to here (and I borrowed the image for this post from it!).
