I am not going to lie, I’ve always been a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on the whole oriental rug craze. But right now, they are all the rage, rich in color and patterns they can brighten and intensify any area of your home. If you prefer neutral toned rooms, adding an oriental rug can help spice up the way the room looks and feels.

We just swapped out our neutral rug in the living room for a fresh new oriental. See the photo at the bottom of this post.

  • I always love the look of an oriental rug. It brightens the room and add charm to it. The only thing is choosing the patterns and designs wisely, which can cause headache at time of purchase every time. I love the pattern chose, very tasteful with such class and style! 🙂

I love oriental rugs! It pulls everything together in a room. I love the uniqueness & charm it adds and they are always a classic!

  • When I was a kid, my mother would always go to the Oriental furniture stores. Even though we were Asian (or perhaps because we were Asian), she decorated the whole house like it was straight out out of a Chinese movie. Thank God she changed when we moved to the following house; that one is decorated like a house in Mexico haha, all bright colors and wood. Love your choices.

  • I love the way products are displayed on your site now. Also, I’m also a fan of neutral based interior design but I’m totally not against pops of colour. I don’t like neutral homes that are too dead looking. So the rug is a nice idea!

  • I love how oriental rugs literally look good in any style! And it helps bring a room together! x

  • Oriental rugs are everywhere now on Pinterest 😀 They look so good in a room!

Wow! It really makes a big difference in the room. I really like the richness like you said. I am glad they are trending. I grew up with them and never thought twice to get rid of them. Xo, Ellese

  • I really love this style of rug, not a trend I have thought to try but I love it so much.

Not a fan of the new but I love the old. Aga John in LA is the best! I have a huge on from my grand house down sized a bit and folded it in half. Works great! Worn and interesting is most appealing to me.
