“The cure for anything is salt water – sweat, tears or the sea.”
There is something about the ocean that pulls you away from your normal life. I won’t say that my “normal” life feels normal these days by any means. In fact, life seems exceptionally abnormal in the most amazing ways. But with any excitement comes despair. With any positive momentum the ball must always drop. And the past few months has left me with little to no time at all to sit and be still, alone with myself.
I always find that a visit to the sea provides me with a wider perspective on all things in life. There is a unique way that the Pacific Ocean mist hits your face that it reawakens the soul, giving it a true breath of fresh air.
As I walked up the cliff in Malibu I came to find out that my cure involved a bit of sweat, a few tears and, as always, the sea.
