Wherever this note reaches you, I hope that it finds you having a wonderful Christmas.
These are my two favorite days of the year. It isn’t that I never get to spend quality time with my family. In fact, I am exceptionally blessed that I get to see my family as much as I do. But there is something about the spirit of Christmas that brings us all together in a way that is unlike any other time of the year. There comes a moment each year that I step back to take it all in: My brother playing the piano. My grandparents sit watching proudly from the corner of the room. My Mom and her sisters giggle in their inner circle at some sort of inside joke. And all of the cousins still play together like we are all 5, yet we are grown adults. I find Christmas in my heart, and thankfully that is something you will never find under the tree. My favorite Christmas gift, year after year after year, is the love that I am able to give and receive from my family. I truly hope and pray that you are able to find the same precious gift this year.
