I’ll Be Home For Christmas

gap styldby

Every year it’s the same holiday hustle.

And every year I fall more and more in love with it.

On Christmas Eve you will always find me at Meme & CR’s house at 7:30pm for pimento cheese & chicken salad sandwiches. There’s an array of all of our favorite appetizers like cheese dip, meat balls and Meme’s famous tuna dip. We open presents, Santa Claus {aka the neighbor} comes by and toward the end of the night Christmas carolers stop by and we wistfully take in the tunes.

As cozy and comfortable as my Christmas Eve feels, I want to be equally comfortable when traveling. That’s why this year, I have partnered up with GAP and their styld.by project to create my favorite look for jet-setting to Texas for the holidays. I hope you find yourself equally cozy as you head home for your own holiday traditions.

  1. Pimento cheese sandwiches were my favorite growing up!! I just wanted to take this time to congratulate you on your wild success. I stumbled upon your blog early last year and I knew you were something special. I have been a die-hard follower ever since. It’s truly amazing (though not at all surprising) how far you’ve come in such a short time. It’s been so much fun following you in all your endeavors and I’m looking forward for what’s to come! Thank you for sharing your life with us and for the 2nd year of spectacular giveaways =) Merry Christmas to you and yours and Happy New Year! x

  2. Have a wonderful time with your family, Jacey. My mom used to make pimento cheese sandwiches on white bread. She was from the South and has been gone for eight years now. I hadn’t thought about those sandwiches for a while. Thanks for jarring a nice memory!
